A/N: This is for the "Anything You Wanna Write" Competition. It's clearly quiet simple, Remus's and Tonk's goodbye to Teddy. P.S. I can't believe I actually started tearing up as I wrote this. Please review and Enjoy!

The wind howled, the rain pounded down, the thunder clashed and the lighting frizzled in the cold winters night. Remus pulled his hand through his hair, a habit he had when he was either nervous or stressed and he had reason to be both. Tonks was being insufferable, and all Remus wanted to do was keep her safe, with Teddy and far, far away from the war he had been called to come and fight at Hogwarts on this horrid night.

"For the last time NO Tonks! I will not allow you to go and fight this war! Not when Teddy needs you here, and I need you to stay safe so that I won't be distracted by my worries for you. Please just stay here," Remus pleaded for what felt like the fiftieth time that night. All he wanted was for them to stay safe, his family! His wife, His son!

"And what about MY worries Remus, how do you think I'll feel not knowing if your dead or alive. I made a vow to stick with you through thick and thin, through the good times and the bad times." Tonks yelled. Remus was still reeling from the fact that a woman he loved had even wanted to marry him, let alone said woman had just gone and done that.

"I know dear, but Teddy needs you. I'm sorry love," Remus said kissing her lips as if it was the last time he would have the pleasure to do so. When he had finally pulled away from the woman that he loved, he looked at his son one more time and then his wife again remembering exactly who and what he was fighting for and then Remus was gone.

Teddy's cries filled the house, comprehension not settling on the newborns head. Tonks picked up her son; she was stilling reeling over how much he looked like his father and walked into the living room with him. She knew what Remus had said, knew that he wanted her to remain here but Merlin! She was an Aurora for goodness sake; this type of thing was in her job description. She cradled Teddy to her chest, as she floo called her parents. They responded instantly to the calling and Tonks handed over her child to her parents when they had finally arrived at her home.

"Please take care of him, I'm going to Hogwarts, Remus is already there." She said to her parents and she knew that they understood what she was about to do. "I love you Teddy, Mummy is so proud of her little boy," Tonks whispered before placing a loving kiss on her son's head, feeling her tears falling down her cheeks. She slowly pulled away from her son and felt his little hand release her index finger as she pulled away. Tonks was gone within the next moment, and although tiny Teddy did not understand why his parents had just left him, the crying of the baby was so loud that it drowned out the loud display of mother-nature at one of her wildest moments.
