Jane ran her fingers through her hair, for she was very nervous.

"Relax, Jane. I'm sure Maura's just as nervous as you are."
"Somehow I doubt that," Jane said, chuckling at Angela's comment, "she's not the kind of person to get nervous easily."
"Why wouldn't she be nervous, Jane? It's your wedding. I'm sure that Maura's nervous about marrying you. I mean, not that she doesn't think it's great, I just think she'd be nervous and maybe afraid that you'd back out."

"Good point, Ma, you're probably right. But I would never back out."
"I know that. And she probably does too."

Maura was experiencing the sensation commonly known as butterflies in the stomach as she waited for her brunette fiancé to walk down to meet her. She was eager, but nervous. When Jane finally walked down, Maura stared at her. Jane was wearing a black dress that Maura thought was stunningly beautiful on her, while Maura was wearing a glimmering blue dress that counteracted the glimmering black of Jane's. She smiled as Jane came to a stop.

"You look stunning, Jane."

"Thank you."

"We are gathered here today in the presence of witnesses and friends and families for the joining in bond of matrimony Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles. The contract of marriage is not one to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully with a deep realization of the obligations and responsibilities it entails. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundation of a happy home. No human ties are more important or tender. Do you, Maura Isles, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"And do you promise to keep her, love and comfort, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse and to be faithful until death do you part?"

"I do."

"Do you have rings?"

"Yes. Jane Rizzoli, I give you this ring, in token of my commitment and love."

"Maura Isles, I give you this ring, in token of my commitment and love."

"Now that you have joined yourselves formally in matrimony, may you strive all your lives to meet this contract with the same sense of love and commitment. It is now with great pleasure that I pronounce you spouses for life. You may kiss."

Maura kissed Jane gently on the mouth, then deepened the kiss.

"I love you, Jane."

"I love you too, Maura."

A/N: I just edited it so that it included what Maura was wearing, and then added this note.
