I was in school trip. Bus rides that lasts 10h is a long time. But when there are protesters against the railway line between Lyon and Turin who are absolutely blocking all roads, it's even worse.

I am on a school trip, I'm going to Venice. The city of love. The beautiful city. The city on the water.
I listen to music. Like most "girls" all over the world now, I listen to One Direction. Yes, I'm a fan. No, I'm not ashamed. Yes, they are beautiful. Yes, they sing beautifully. Yes, they dress beautifully. They are just perfect. Yes, it's an addiction.

I arrived in Venice at 11am. The teacher began walking to the entrance of Venice by the bridge to St. Mark's Square. Tired.
I visited the Basilica of the place: it's beautiful. High ceilings, the gilding on the walls, frescoes, mosaics on the floor, the vaults.
Very early, too early for me, we took the ferry to reach our hotel. He was not in Venice but even 40 minutes by boat.

40 minutes later, arrived at the hotel.

Our teacher is the "cool type" and not at all strict. In evening, we can return to Venice. The only rule is to be back before curfew of 23:30. He gave us all a boat pass: we can take any ferry without paying. For the hotel, I shared a room with my three friends: Kate, Mathilde and Laurine.
Only them know who I really am. I am myself when I'm with them. Otherwise I'm the shy girl, reserved person who does not speak. After the meal, that is to say to 19h, we agree on one thing. We want to return to Venice tonight despite the (very) long trip. At night, a city is not the same as the day.
The boats pass at 19:10. So in 10 minutes, we arrive on the boat. And 40 minutes later, we are in Venice, Piazza San Marco with shops in every street.
