Authoress: Another small ConnxYuu drabble.

Yuuri lay tossing and turning in his bed, his oblivious fiancée snoring deeply beside him. Try as he might, Yuuri couldn't sleep, no matter what he tried. He had tried counting sheep, but it just made him wonder what sheep had to do with sleeping anyway. He tried holding his breath until dots danced before his eyes, but Wolfram kicked him in the stomach, sending it all exploding out of him as he coughed. With a sigh he got out of bed, sliding on his shirt. He debated taking Morgif, but the sword was snoring as loud, if not louder, than Wolfram. Deciding not to disturb it, as he rather enjoyed his fingers attached, he slipped out the door and into the corridor. He waved away the guards, assuring them that he just wanted to take a short stroll. He walked slowly, looking down at the cool cobblestone beneath his feet. He knew what was troubling him, as unwilling as he was to admit it. It was a certain gorgeous solider that haunted his dreams and thoughts, making it impossible to sleep, eat, and even to learn history lessons from Gunter.

"Not like I need an excuse to zone out from that, though." he admitted to himself quietly.

He rounded a corner and suddenly bumped into someone, falling backwards. A hand shot out and caught him, and he heard a warm familiar voice.

"Your Majesty!"

Yuuri looked up to find worried brown eyes searching his face, checking for damage.

"Conrad!" Yuuri stared, startled. Not that he was really surprised to see him. After all, if haunted in his dreams and thoughts, why not reality too?
