EPILOGUE

The wind was blowing very hard. That is not a very common thing in Black Hawk. As Jeffrey Tisserand walked down the busy Tropic Road, the wind was so gusty that a few feathers from a robin came off its body and flew right into his face.

"Argh," he said. He started swatting at his face. He had to do it so hard his cap fell off. He bent down to pick it up, and when he came back up, he saw a picture of a ghost nailed to a streetlight. Since it was around Halloween, Jeffrey knew it was probably just an advertisement for a haunted house. But Jeffrey was a writer for the paranormal section of the Black Hawk Banner. He was doing a special article for Halloween on haunted places near Black Hawk. The trouble was, Black Hawk had no significance in Louisiana whatsoever. Even if there was a haunted place, nobody knew about it. Jeffrey needed to find a place desperately, with only one week before Halloween. When he read the paper, he got very excited. On the paper was:

LIBRARY OF HORRORS

Have you ever wondered what haunted a place?

Ever wonder of the haunted places in the U.S.?

Well, now's your chance to read about them

Come to the Library of Horrors

Where nightmares become a reality

Opens October 1st (908)555-3471 293 Devil Blvd.

As soon as he finished reading the flier, Jeffrey ran to his car down the road. He drove over to Devil Blvd. and instantly saw the library. It was the only building on the street. When he got in the building, he went over to the desk in the middle of the room. There was a man who appeared to be in his mid-40s staring at Jeffrey. "Can I help you?" he asked.

"I want to know if there are any haunted places near here," Jeffrey said. The man, who's name was Clinton, according to his name tag, started typing rapidly, and in no longer than 5 seconds he said, "In Fort Adams, there is a house called Virtue Manor. It says they let a certain amount of people stay there around Halloween. Here, I'll print out the information for you."

After a few minutes, Jeffrey was walking out of the Library of Horrors with the information to stay at Virtue Manor. He was sure the editor of newspaper would let him go. After all, he didn't need the story until October 29th. When he got home, he went on his computer and emailed the Virtue Manor.
