Author's Note: Accidently started a ship. I'm sorry. Here have some drabble.

"Oh thank God." Andrea collapsed backward, panting against the ground.

"You might not want to do that so quickly." The hooded stranger took a step closer. "That amount and there's probably more nearby. We've got to keep moving."

Andrea nodded sharply, scrambling back to her feet. "Right. Yeah. Of course." Catching sight of the chained and armless walkers behind her savior, she screamed and staggered back.

"Relax." The voice below the hood chuckled. "They've stopped trying to attack me and the smell keeps away others."

"That's fucked up."

"It's worked for me so far."

Andrea held her distance as they walked steadily through the trees. Finally she slumped against a stump, holding her side. "Can we hold up for a minute? I need a break."

"I guess you do. This seems as good a place as any." Flipping her hood back the stranger revealed herself. "We can set up here for a while." Almost casually she hooked her chained companions around a nearby tree, double checking that they couldn't be let lose. "There's water in the bag." She gestured and Andrea practically dove at it.

The plastic crunched under her fingers, as she struggled to unscrew the cap. Her fingers were trembling as her adrenaline started to fade away. Before Andrea was even aware, her cheeks were wet. The other woman let her cry as she gathered wood and started a small fire. Finally as the last tremors stopped, Andrea turned to her. "Thank you."

"Don't mention it."

"I don't even know your name."

"Michonne."

"Andrea."

"Good to meet you. Could have been better circumstances." Michonne dropped to the ground close to Andrea's side and rooted through her rucksack. She produced a can of peaches and a thick knife and began to pry the lid off. She offered the first slice to Andrea and between the two of them they finished the can in minutes.

Andrea sat for a long time beside her new acquaintance. It had been so long since she met anyone that she didn't know where to start. "There was a herd."

Michonne turned to her confused.

"We were staying at a farm and there was a herd of walkers. I got separated. Oh god! I don't even know if anyone else made it. Oh god!"

"I'm sorry."

Andrea turned to the woman who had for no good reason decided to come to her rescue. "You saved me." She stuttered. "You saved me." And before she was aware of what her body was doing, her lips were against this stranger's. "My friends." She pulled back. "Everyone." Again she was crying, this time cushioned by the warm comforting body of another person.

It felt wonderful to be held.
