Author's Note: Narrative of that itsy-bitsy fluffness of Yoh and Anna on that special new year's episode of Shaman King.

Disclaimer: I do not own Shaman King.

Yoh, Ren, Ryu and Manta wondered about the second preliminaries of the Shaman Tournament.

Ryu commented that they'd meet people who are as strong as Hao. "We have to give it our best shot."

Ren mentioned that he doesn't care whoever it was, and that he'll definitely defeat them all. So typical of Ren. "I will become the Shaman King."

Yoh grinned at the Chinese shaman and told him, "That's gonna get me into trouble. If I don't become Shaman King, Anna will..."

The young Asakura suddenly shrieked.

"What?" Manta exclaimed.
"Anna!" He bolted up from his seat.
"What about her?" Ren scoffed.
"We're going to the temple for New Year's Eve!"
"She made you go with her?" Manta laughed heartily. He finds it atypical for Anna to do something like that. Then again, he doesn't really know her that well.

"I thought Anna-okami had an appointment... that was you?" Ryu added.
"We're supposed to meet at the train station."
"What?" They said in unison.
"I'm in for some serious beating if I don't get there on time."
"Well, go! The hell are you standing there for?"
"Alright, ja ne!"

They were at an arm's length distance, standing on each side of the train door. Anna's eyes remained shut, while Yoh busied himself checking the train's route map posted on the ceiling, before looking outside to stare at the beautiful scenery passing them by. He noticed that Anna was now staring at him intently, waiting for him to say something - anything.

"Do you think it's crowded there?" Yoh asked without looking at her.
"We'll see."

It was a full moon that night. They got off the train and it was only when Yoh felt, that he should've worn a thicker jacket for the winter breeze.

"It's sooo cold." He tucked his hands in his pocket before asking Anna 'Are you alright?' with a tinge of concern on his voice.
"Yes." She said in her usual, no-nonsense tone and walked past Yoh.

Eventually, Yoh followed suit and caught up with her steps. Now they're beside each other.

A few minutes of silent strolling, Anna began to speak "I'm leaving everything to you."

Yoh had his mind blown away. This was the first time she asked him nicely. Nice is relative.

"O-okay! You can depend on me this year..." He was blushing, mindlessly scratching his head, but before he could even finish, Anna cut him off, "I mean the money offering. Because I dropped my wallet."

Yoh could barely hide his disbelief at what she said;

However, he wouldn't say it out loud. At least she's giving him a chance to do something special for her.

Anna clutched her purse, safely placed in her right pocket. She'd probably be wishing for him again - whatever it is.
