Rose met the doctor at Bad Wolf Bay as he appeared as a hologram in front of her. She couldn't believe a word he was saying, the sadness and hopelessness coming from the goodbyes. She couldn't believe that it was all coming to an end, the days of travelling to the last day of the earth and New New York. But then The Doctor smiled at her and winked. Rose looked back at her family, her mum and dad finally together after so many years awaiting the arrival of their new baby and then turned to look at Mickey, the boy who always waited for her even when he said he had had enough, the boy who would die for her and give her everything, but Rose could never give Mickey everything because her heart belonged to someone else and Rose knew he deserved better, better than a girl that would trade her life to be with someone else, that would trade everything just to spend a few more hours with the man she loved, The Doctor. She knew they would be okay without her, that they would live full lives without having to worry about her, without waiting.
Rose grasped the Doctors hand and stole one last glace at her family before the gap between the parallel universes closed forever and then she was back in the Tardis with the Doctor, the only place she belonged. Rose turned to the Doctor and asked "I thought it was closed forever, that I would be lost and never be with you again. How did you do this?" As the Doctor was running around the Tardis programming it for the next big adventure he just smiled and said "oh, wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff, never mind that anyway, where too?"
Rose smiled and wondered where they would end up, Rose and her Doctor. Just as this thought was lingering in her mind the Tardis shook and took off into time and space. But suddenly the Tardis was spinning out of control and the panels were sparking. Then before Rose or the Doctor could do anything to help they had crash landed somewhere. The Doctor and Rose looked at each other as they were both thinking the same thing. With a grin on his face The Doctor jumped up and opened the Tardis door…
