A/N: In English class we're studying poetry so I'm supposed to write a poem and I really did try. In the end, it related to Hetalia... Yeah.
I do not own Hetalia.
You gave me so much
But there is a price
I have to go
And live my life
I can change the world
In my own little way
Just let me prove it
Stop making me stay
I'll fight if I have to
I know you'll fight back
This all started
With a single 'crack'
For years we fought
Going head to head
Now it's all over
This war has an end.
I remember being little
And looking up to you
You were my brother
My father
You were my hero too
I also remember on that day
I remember looking down
You were on your knees
In the rain
You were crying
yelling
Very loud
Now the years have passed my friend
And we both are marching on
With a smile on our faces
We both march this road so long
Our past together has been rough
With our ups and downs
But we're still there for each other
Helping when they have a frown
Thank you for all the things you did
For me as a kid
I want to thank you
Very much
For everything you did
Thank you.
A/N: I may or may not use this as my entry. If you know about SHOWCASE you know that it's filled with poems, stories, and artwork from different grades. I need a poem to submit and I'm thinking about using this. What do you guys think? I had a few people read it. None of them knew anime so I got to see what other people think about it without knowing Hetalia. They thought that it was about a boy and his family who fought all the time, after an argument, the boy left and went on his own. Later, the family was back together and were happy together and finally got along. They're still wondering why I titled it 'Revolution' though. Should I change the title?
I kinda like what they were thinking because I was thinking about that theme and somehow it got to Hetalia... Probably because we were learning about the American Revolution during the time (I was crying, no joke) so I guess it just tied in since in Hetalia, America wanted to live on his own from England. So yeah...
Please Review!~
EDIT June 1, 2013: My poem made it into the SHOWCASE (called 'ILLUMINATIONS' now that it's online)! I want to thank everyone who read this and gave me feedback. m(_ _)m Thank you!
Ah, I'm so happy. Now I'm an anonymous and unanonymous published author. -^^-
