Rose Tyler had finally gotten back to her old self. She was happily married with a son on the way, and it was almost as if she'd never even been whisked away in that big blue police box. The pain of being left behind had subsided, and she rarely even thought about her travels anymore, despite her husband being the exact copy of The Doctor. Her Doctor.

Despite the beautiful day, she paid no attention to her surroundings. She didn't hear the birds chirping, or see the children playing; she was too deep in thought. It was one of those rare times when she really reflected on the adventures she'd had among the stars almost ten years ago. As much as she loved her current life in this parallel world, she sometimes longed to hear the "VWORP" of the TARDIS more than anything. As she turned the corner, a funny man in a bowtie and a fez on top of his head ran right into her. An odd screwdriver-like object fell out of his hand.

"I'm so sorry!" the man exclaimed, leaning down to pick up the gadget. "I should pay more attention, Amy's always... telling... hello." the man said, looking up at Rose's face.

"Um... hello?"

"I... um... you... and..."

"Do I know you?"

"Erm..." the man looked down at her small baby bump. He couldn't ruin the happiness she'd finally found after so long.

"No, I don't think you do. It's just... you look like an old friend of mine."

"Right. Well... have a nice day, sir."

"Oh, yes! Yes, you too, Miss Tyler." The man hurried off in the opposite direction, a sad smile on his face. Rose walked around the corner, and after a moment, she froze. How did he know her last name? And that device he was holding... Rose bolted back around the corner. She stood there, a tear rolling down her cheek, as the big blue box across the street slowly vanished, the "vworp vworp" of the TARDIS fading, and The Doctor already worlds away.
