Hey guys. I have to blame Undepressme on livejournal. This is all her fault. I fell for Cloud/Axel hard. And there isn't really any fiction on them. So, jan-jan! I ended up writing some...this is just one of the many drabbles about these two I have floating around. Hince why I'm a bit antsy, I hope this can do the two justice...I really do. I made Reno dead in here cause well...KH is Reno-less...sucks.

But anyway, this is a bit wierd. Ok, really wierd. One of those prospective pieces thing-ys. I'll probably post more sane fics about the two later...when I'm free from work...anyway, enjoy and spread the Cloud/Axel love.

Disclaimer: Are Zidane, Kuja, and Reno in KH? Is there an Eye shield 21 world? No? Then obviously I don't own...

Justified

Red.

An un-naturally vivid shade, almost like ink that had been spilled and yet had not been grabbed by gravity.

A familiar cascade of shocking bright red, almost mockingly bright.

And so familiar…

Then he was snapped out of his spell.

Green.

Emerald feline orbs that glittered with an almost deceitful leer.

Green.

Not those wishy-washy light grays that sparkled whenever he was teased.

Green.

Even the eye tattoos were close, but…that green

It was a constant slap in the face.

This wasn't Reno…and it would never be…

And to be fair, Axel felt the same.

Green ruined his illusion as well...

Gold.

Deep yellow spikes that glistened like the sun was trapped in their strands.

And those hard crystalline blues that were like sapphires…almost perfect—

--Except for the thin ring of light green that tinted their edges.

These eyes had already seen battles and fought through more horrors than Roxas ever had.

Green.

Whenever Cloud was upset, it would glow…it would shine as if further rubbing it in—wiping out the beautiful ocean blue.

Green.

There wasn't ever a light air around him as if no emotions were possessed, no the air was thick with melancholy almost as if constantly carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders—those eyes were too damn expressive.

Green.

The color of Envy.

It became agreed upon that both would keep their eyes closed.

Keep their mind elsewhere—stuck in hazy whispers, frantic touching, and the atmosphere dream-like—as they did this.

They weren't even sure themselves whatever 'this' it was they were doing.

Sleeping with the enemy?

Pent-up frustrations and hormones?

A fast fuck?

Either way, when ever 'this' ended, both would rise, dress, and simply leave.

There were no hurried promises or rushed intimidation to cover up their meetings.

As far as Cloud was concerned, he'd just been visiting Reno, and as far as Axel cared to indulge, he was just seeing Roxas again.

And they honestly believed it in their minds:

Reno was alive again, holding Cloud close, and to Axel, Roxas had never left, it was him in Axel's arms.

Really, who was this Cloud/Axel that everyone kept talking about?
