A/n: I know I'm not the BEST writer but…. Sadly I was bored so… I did my first bones fan fiction: D hope you like it (or not hate it.)

It had been a long day, though Bones had made it appear as though it was just another body, it wasn't. The little boy that died broke her heart and she wished she had someone to share her pain with. But she didn't, just a bottle of wine and a good book. Bones wanted booth to be with her. He was good at making her feel better. He was so sweet, she was wondering what he was doing. (Probably tucking in Parker.) When she took this job, she didn't think she would fall in love with him, then again for the longest time she wouldn't admit that she was in love with him. Bones took a sip of wine taking in this thought; she decided to let this idea go.

"I can't love him, that insane!" she said out loud. There was a knock at the door and she looked at the clock. 12:36 a.m.

Bones got up, and opened the door…it was Booth! She opened the door, a sheepish smile playing across his face. She was in her pajamas, with a glass of wine in her hand.

"This could be a bad idea" he thought to himself.

"Am I interrupting anything?' she looked down at her apparel and wine and blushed.

"No, I was just reading." "And talking to myself," she thought.

"Come in" she said, noticing he was still standing in the doorway. He put his hands in his jean pockets. Booth walked into the kitchen and poured himself a glass of wine.

"So, that was some case huh?" he saw pain cross he face, as he sat down next to her, the T.V. in the back round. "Um, yes" she answered glumly, already feeling better just in him presents.

"Are you okay Bones?" he asked looking her in the eyes.

"Ya, yes, umm… I'm fine. Just the… case today, it was hard." She answered leaning back on the couch. Earlier she was finding it hard not to cry, now with him here she was okay; no one has ever affected her this way. She even admitted to him that the case was hard for her. Bones knew this was bad, VERY bad. She was letting her guard down the walls that took her whole life building were crumbling before her. As she was deciphering whether or not this was as bad as it seemed, he was staring at her.

"What are you thinking Bones?" he asked curiously. She looked up at him, the reason her walls were crumbling; Angela was right about him, he did love her. (She just didn't know in what way,) When she hesitated to answer he got worried. Bones always spoke her mind. "Bones is everything okay?"

"Yes, today just got to me." She answered feeling silly. She could tell Booth knew she was lying. "I'm glad you came over though, it sometimes gets a bit lonely" she was tired of lonely. "Ya, after today, I didn't want to be alone," he said sheepishly he knew he probably should have called, but he figured she was alone and awake, apparently he was correct.

"Why are you up anyway?" he asked. "I told you I couldn't sleep." She said just becoming aware her head was on his strong shoulder. She went wide – eyed. Why was it whenever she actually noticed it) moments like this) she got nervous. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, its okay. "Tired?" Booth asked breaking her of her thought process. "Um, ya, a little." She answered closing her eyes again. Though her voice sounded tired, it also sounded sad. That was one of the reasons he wouldn't move.

There was a "Cheers" marathon on the T.V. Bones ended up falling asleep. (which didn't surprise Booth in the least bit) He shifted, his back was starting to hut, but he didn't care
