Wrestling Competition

Marinette had just skidded through the classroom door 5 minutes before the bell rang. Everyone was turned to each other talking vividly in what was clear excitement. Marinette took her usual seat next to Alya and twisted to her.

"Hey," Marinette greeted.

"Hey Girl," Alya replied cheerfully.

"What's going on?"

"Oh, they're doing a huge wrestling comp at lunch," she replied.

"Oh," Marinette replied.

Marinette thought about the competition. It wasn't that she wasn't strong… because boy! She was REALLY strong. That was due to her alter-ego LadyBug of course. She just didn't want to be the center of attention. Marinette was the clumsy klutz of her class, and she didn't want to ruin their image of her or embarrass someone for beating them. She would just watch.

"Adrien's competing," Alya said absentmindedly.

And watch Adrien flexing his muscles, Marinette added.

AT LUNCH

The desks had been moved, to make way for the completion. There was a single desk with two chairs on each side. Everyone was here (except Chloe and Sabrina).

Then…. The competition began. As it was progressing the people volunteering lessened as it got harder. Half of the people had gotten ago in the room. Then someone spoke,

"Why don't you have a go, Marinette?" Alya spoke aloud. Everyone turned to Marinette now. She could tell they were trying to hold in their laughs. Everyone thought Marinette to be weak, and obviously no match for Kim, who was the reigning champion at the moment.

This made Marinette angry. She was going to show them. Her eyes showed with determination and competitiveness, as she spoke, "Bring it on."

A few people actually laughed at this but Marinette didn't mind. She just sat down on the chair smirking to herself. As she looked up at Kim, he wore an arrogant smirk. He thought this would be his easiest match ever. Marinette scoffed.

Alix stood towering over the table as the two positioned the hands. Alix started counting down,

"Three…"

"Two…"

"One…"

As the match began everyone was surprised that Marinette hadn't gone smack straight away.

Kim was the most surprised. His hand was shaking, but Marinette's didn't even appear to be moving.

"Aww," Marinette began, "Did we start already? I didn't even notice," she taunted. She yawned. With the same posture and matter she addressed the others in the room, "Are you guys serious? This is easy," she smirked. She looked at her other wrist, and clicked her tongue, "Well, would you look at the time, gotta go," and at that she slammed the back of Kim's fist so hard it broke the table. Everyone's jaws dropped. Marinette just slung her bag over her shoulder, stood up and just waltzed out the door, he hips swaying. The last thing Marinette heard was chaos in the classroom, and a, "I think she broke my hand."
