Allen crouched against the wall, smirking to himself. He's done shit like this a million times, and he's been planning this for weeks. He lifted himself up, using his bat to break the window. He knew the parents were gone, and thought the kid (who he went to school with) was at a friends house. He heard them talking about it at school.
The only thing is, the plans changed.
Meaning now, instead of one of his classmates empty rooms, he was facing the nerd squad playing a game of Dungeons & Dragons. Complete with them eating Red Vines. He froze, locking eyes with the brunette, bespectacled girl that lived there.
Fuck.
Then she started laughing. 'What the fuck is wrong with this girl? I mean, everyone knows she's weird, but this?'He thought. She stopped, caught her breath, and looked up. Finally, she spoke.
"Dude, if you wanted to play D and D, ya didn't have to break my window." There were a few scattered chuckles, and he could feel his face heat up. But you know what? It was better than having the police called on him. Besides, who didn't like Red Vines?
"Well, what are you waiting for? Grab a character sheet and join in, new characters are easy as fuck to add at this point!" He climbed through, sat and let her walk him through making the charecter before they restarted the game. They were actually a pretty chill group. He sat happily among them, a bit worried about school when at the end of the night.
"Oh yeah, Allen, one quick rule we have: Whatever the fuck happens here, stays here. See you next weekend."
