The Life of Peach Creek
I live in Peach Creek, Florida. Peach Creek is only 5 miles from Orlando. Peach Creek is around Daytona Beach, near Interstate 95. Peach Creek is famous not only for its long- living peach trees, but also for the small river that flows through the small town. I live in a small neighborhood in Peach Creek called Mullwood. I go to the local middle school, Peach Creek Junior High. I like money and people are great, except for one: Kevin Donovan. Kevin has my rival since pre-school. My two accomplices are Ed Smith and Edd Johnson.
One sunny day, I came up with an idea. It was about 89 degrees that day, and there were extra degrees because Florida is the Sunshine State, so it would be hot.
The three of us were lying down on Ed's front lawn when I thought "Ed is so excited about mutant animals…"
I said "I have an idea! We will create mutant animal experiments. Edd, you'll make the mutant animals. Ed, you're the sales clerk. I will be the manager. Ed's Animal Labs, here we come!"
But before that could happen, something bad happened. A scam (failed- again) resulted in a wild goose chase across the country that ended at a amusement park, Mondo- A- Go Go in southern New Jersey or Maryland.
Ed said "Eddy, what's a sales clerk?"
Edd said "Ed, a sales clerk is the person in the store who helps people."
At one point of our journey, we were in California. The 3 of us have been through so much since Edd moved in during the summer between the first and second grade.
Kevin was born in another city in another state, but nobody knew that, not even Kevin himself.
One day, Kevin was going through the things in his attic, when he found a strange picture. The picture showed a medium- height boy with yellow hair, smiling evilly and a taller, red- haired girl next to him, blushing furiously. The banner in the picture said "Golden Heights Middle School, Class of 1994".
Kevin thought "I never heard of Golden Heights Middle School."
Kevin sees a letter saying "Ms. Wavers, your son James has been accepted to West Kong." Kevin was confused as any other person would be.
