Before
He hated who he had become. A hideous deformed creature that could no longer be called human. A being worthy of derision and terror.
But he hadn't always been this way. Once upon a time he had been a normal human man with normal human urges. He had met an incredible woman who had grown to love him, and he reciprocated the feeling.
But then, this disgusting change had happened to him. He changed from a normal man to this abnormal thing that some people called "Bigfoot".
He still remembered how her voice sounded as she called his name from across the street, and how she sounded as she breathlessly said his name as they were making love.
He could still recall the day he sent her away, and how he didn't believe her words of understanding, sympathy and love. She had wanted to stay with him, even as he changed into this disgusting creature. He couldn't bear for her to see him this way, to see the thing he had become.
Now he lives in peace, quiet, and loneliness, with the occasional excitement of helping acquiring a new patient for Dr. Magnus.
But he still misses her and her love. Because she always called him by his real name, Alexander.
