Hey everyone! This is the first story that I have written in a while. It is special because my father passed away while I was in college. Let me know what you think.

Kensi Blye had many a moment when all she wanted to do was cry. Having her father die while she was a teenager was hard. Her father would never see her graduate from college or FLETC. He would not be there for her at the drop of a hat, be shoulder to cry on, or answer the phone when all she wants to do is say hi. But the thing that gets Kensi the most is that her father will never see her become engaged to the man she loves. Nor will he be there to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day and give her away. There will be no father/daughter dance at her wedding reception. He won't be there when she needs to tell him that she is pregnant with his grandchild. He is not here for any of this. Then Kensi thinks about her family as a whole. There are not many that she really talks to so any event will be small. Then she realizes that she is not alone. At least she knows where her father is, her fiancé on the other hand doesn't even know who his father is.
