Chapter 1 Halloween 1981

A green flash, bang, followed by silence.

A lone hooded figure rushed forward, entering the destroyed plot of Potter's cottage, Godric's hollow, the figure looked around whilst pleading with death "Please let them survive, Please don't die. Your children need you" over and over again even when he knew that they would have no chance against the one who had entered the building last, before him. When the hooded man found the body of his best friend, his brother in all but blood, he found out that the body still breathing yet very faintly, Sirius thought over his chances that if James had survived Lily would've survived too.

Running up to his Godson/nieces and nephew's room, Sirius surveyed the damage 'yikes that is some damage' he could hear Liam, Harry, Conner, Jordan, Morgan, Brooklyn, Willow and Anastasia (Surprise! They are octuplets and their mother survived) crying out to their mother. When he couldn't see her, he rushed around checking the rubble, fortunately when he had found the body of Lily Potter, her chest was lightly heaving in, out, in, out 'Oh thank god she is alive James would die with all the children'. He took the body down to the lounge and placed her alongside her husband's body. Once he had finished, he collected the octuplets planning to drop them off at the Weasley's humble abode, The Burrow, which was located on the coasts of Bude, Cornwall. Unfortunately, he was oh so wrong. Just as he left, he a figure that had the stature of someone that was very familiar too him 'wow I never knew that he had the guts to be an undercover spy'. Sirius put the octuplets down to the side, and very quickly set a stunner upon the ratty, fat man, then once bound placed him just outside the Potter Household, collected the octuplets and went on his way.

A knock sounded from the front door of the Burrow, Bude, Cornwall, Molly Weasley was the person who answered the door. She gasped as she saw what was in the persons' arms " It happened. Didn't it? They died, Lily and James?" she asked the recipient of the question, beckoning the person to enter."Yes and no. he unfortunately did come and try to kill them but fortunately James and Lily both survived." he replied, carrying the octuplets through the door into the lounge where he placed them next to the Weasley octuplets (yes another set of octuplets where both parents survived) Ron, Ethan, Lucas, Noah, Evelyn, Genesis, Zoe and Ginny. "Oh, Thank God. they are just all miracles the lot of them" she commented, briefly flicking her eyes from the children to Sirius" do you know which one is The One?" She could probably guess put they all had scars upon their sniffed "My Godson, Harry I suspect as he was the one who was born at 11:59.59 plus he has a cut in the exact wrist movement as the Avada Kedavra wrist movement. Though it could be any of them but I'm pretty sure it is my godson"

Half an hour later, the two sets of octuplets settled down from the excitement of meeting each other, which is when Sirius took this as his que to go and take Lily and James to Saint Mungo's hospital for magical maladies and injuries where they stayed there for numerous days as a result of their injuries.

Sirius walked in to a faint hum of talking from the kitchen of Potter Manor, from where he could see the two Potters talking into the fireplace that was situated just behind the kitchen table. They were talking lowly almost as if they didn't want to be heard yet still Sirius could hear them if only a little "No, no, no. you don't mean?" "A soul bond" From that he was captivated. Very slowly so he could not be heard, he entered the kitchen where he sat at his unofficial seat preparing to scare the living daylights out of his best friend and his wife.

It carried on from there, Sirius lounging about on two chair legs whilst James and Lily talked away into their Fireplace, for about half an hour until they ended the call. "Merlin Pads, why don't you just kill us when we almost died, what, a fortnight ago?" James questioned him, greeting the man with their wholehearted banter. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll go do that, don't mind me whilst I go fetch my wand!" Sirius countered back, he received a glare from the matriarch Potter" I'm kidding, I'm kidding. jeez woman! Calm Down! I'm just here to give you some additional information of one Peter Pettigrew."

He then proceeded to repeat the information that he had been given, to say that Lily and James were surprised was an understatement but to say that Sirius was surprised was for sure the hugest under statement in the whole worldThe smallest voice ventured from the hallway into the kitchen "mummy, daddy who is that?" the owner of the voice stood at the forefront of what seem to be a small cluster of children.
