I was young when I first met the Maid of Windemere. I was a lonely little girl growing up in Moon Camp outside Rathir. I tended to wander which drove my parents crazy. I watched the Fae woman who would become my best -and only- friend and later my beloved as she fought off the bandits attacking her. As the last one fled she saw style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);" /"It's alright, little Elfling," She called. "Come to me." br style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);" /"Why did you call me that?" I ask, approaching style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);" /"'Elfling'? It is a shorter way of saying elf child. It seemed to fit," The Fae answered. "I am Magwyr." Over time the two of us grew style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);" /"I knew I'd find you up here," Magwyr said approaching my perch on the cliffs overlooking Moon Camp. "You like it here." She climbed up beside style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);" /"You're leaving." I said./div

I've been away from Windemere too long." Magwyr said. We stood in silence for a time then I turn to her. I remove the pendant from around my neck and hook it around hers. She gave me a hug then she left, promising our paths would cross again. I didn't know that I'd be killed by a dragon bent on world destruction, be ripped from the tapestry of Fate and be reborn, face the dragon again and win then visit Esharra -the Fae afterlife- before we'd meet again…at least I didn't know that em style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);"then/em./div
