Danny sighed as he looked around his hospital room, he was starting to get used to this place. It seemed like ever since he met Steve McGarret he ended up in the hospital for something.
"Daddy!" Grace yelled as she ran into the cops room. Danny smiled and hugged his daughter, ignoring the pain in his right shoulder.
"Hey monkey. How'd you get your mom to let you come?" He asked right as Steve and the rest of Five-O came in.
"I was able to convince her, so she let me bring her up here" Steve said while smirking at the disbelief on his partners face. Danny shook his head and brought his attention back to Grace.
"They said that you got shot, are you ok?" Grace asked. Danny smiled and assured her that he was going to be just fine. "Remember, Danno loves you" He said, ignoring his friends raised eyebrows. Grace smiled and put her head down on his uninjured shoulder.
"I love you Danno" Danny smiled and looked over at his partner. He narrowed his eyes when he saw Steve smirk. "What's that look for?" Danny said a little defensively. Steve shook his head.
"Nothing Danno" Danny glared at him but besides that did nothing. He knew he couldn't get him to stop, he's already tried. Chin and Kono look at each other, then Kono grinned.
"Well we better go. Hope you get better Danno" Steve stopped and stared at her with an almost glare.
"Hey!" Steve said looking a little angry. Kono stared at him in confusion, behind her Chin also looked confused. "Only me and Grace can call him Danno!"
"Wrong!" Danny yells looking a little pissed. "Only Grace can call me Danno! You, actually, need to stop!"
"Hey, I won the right to call you Danno."
"How?"
"I've saved your life" Danny gaped at him.
"You've endangered my life! Multiple times!" Steve shrugged. Kono and Chin look at each other and then at Grace. All three smiled as Steve and Danny continued to argue. It's fun to have such a great family.
