Once Upon A Time~ The Beginning
"The prince and Cinderella were married and lived happily ever after. The end". Said a woman of twenty six reading the last line of her daughter's bedtime story.
"Do you think I will fall in love and live happily ever after mommy?" asked the five year old sitting up in her bed.
The older woman laughed and kissed the bouncing child on her head and laid her back down.
"Of course you will Isabel my love, of course you will" Said the older woman.
"Read it again mommy, read it again."
As the woman was about to reply the door opened and Isabel's father walked in hearing all the laughter.
"My, my, are you still awake darling?" He said chuckling and placing her back in bed.
"She wanted to hear Cinderella love." Said the older woman smiling as her husband kissed her forehead.
"Hmmm, I remember that one. I remember that one very well." The man said sitting on his daughter's bed and setting her in his lap.
"Arthur, you wouldn't be thinking of the story I think you are" the woman asked raising her eyebrow.
"How would you like to hear how your mother and I fell in love?" the man now known as Arthur asked his daughter.
The little girl with blond hair and green eyes just like his own brightened up and nodded her head excitedly.
"I wanna hear it, please mommy can daddy tell the story" the girl pleaded with those green eyes like her fathers.
Arthur gave his wife a wink and she couldn't help but laugh.
"How about it Alex love, I think she's old enough to hear the story"
"Alright, it was rather daring, least to say" she said giving her husband her own look making him smirk.
"Let's see where to start, ahhh yes I know. The pirate captain and the tavern maid" Arthur started
Isabel sat on her fathers lap knowing she was going to hear the most exciting and adventurous story her little ears have ever heard.
