I don't own Blue Water High or any of its characters. If I did, Solar Blue wouldn't have closed and I would be the happiest person alive!

She hadn't been there for four years.

So what made her decide to return?

Sure, it'd be risky. A girl of twenty, suddenly in charge of six teenagers, without a clue in the world.

Did she want the job?

Of course.

Did she take the job?

Of course.

Stepping into the boarding house for Solar Blue Academy, Bec headed straight for the office. When she was there, four years ago, it was the place you stayed away from. If you were in the office you were either in trouble, getting in trouble, or about to get in trouble. Needless to say, she avoided the room.

But, four years after she graduated Solar Blue, she was back and that very office was where she was going to spend quite a lot of time. Paperwork, schedules, looking after the kids... all the things she took for granted when Simmo, Deb and Jilly did it.

Entering the office, memories flooded back. Not bad memories, but memories of the good times. Photos from her year covered the corkboard- Simmo was never very good at updating things. Or using the computer.

On the desk were two framed photos- one of Bec and her other six on day one, and the other of Bec and her six on the final day. In the first frame, they looked shy and nervous and really young- Bec remembered that feeling all too well. on the last day, they looked happy and excited and anxious to know their winners.

It was then everything changed.

And no matter how much things changed this year, she knew she'd stick by her six gorgeous kids. After all, she'd had the best teacher in the world. And nothing was going to get in her way.

Nothing.
