Hi people curious enough to read. This is my first time writing a fan-fiction, so hopefully it's not too bad. As a disclaimer, I don't own Kingdom Hearts.
Chapter 1: The Dream
"The sky's so pretty!" yelled the black-haired child. She hopped with glee on the old roof's edge, waving a blue popsicle in the air.
"Quit being a rabbit or you'll fall. Eat your ice cream before it melts," the spiky red-head scolded. Roxas giggled and nibbled on his own blue sweet treat as he watched his brother and the girl playfully argue. Just as Roxas was about to focus on the girl, her body was engulfed in ice and scattered away in the wind.
"Wait! Who are you?" Roxas yelled, reaching for the shattered ice fragments. He then lost his footing and began falling from the roof. His hand reached for the yellow orb in the sky as he admired the warm colors above him...

Roxas gasped as he lifted himself from his bed. Her. She's always in my dreams. Who is she? Roxas pondered over his dream until a familiar voice interrupted him.
"Yo, Roxas! You better hurry up and eat this food so I can take you to school. I got something called a job, and I'm not gonna be late because of you again!" Axel ordered as usual.
"I'll be there in a sec, so hold it!" Roxas responded, quickly changing into his dull uniform for another boring day at school.
