Growing up together- A HongTai fanfic- by Mido
Hong Kong would always, I mean always be hanging out with his closest sibling-like region, Taiwan. When they were kids, they'd go up to China and say, "Teacher!' "Play with us!" , and China would go play with them. But now it was all different. They'd grown up, Hong Kong, being in his teens, and Taiwan as an adult. One thing between the two hasn't changed, however- being together. Always. It's been a promise. Even until now.
The time they promised to protect one another was more than anything- Hong Kong, being taken away from England, and Taiwan having to see that, and cry. And Taiwan, being taken away to Japan, and Hong Kong crying secretly to see her go away. Both understand the pain of seeing each other go away, that's why they've promised themselves, to protect eachother, and never let go. But that's not the only emotions hidden during that time- no one knew their emotions full of beteen them was what made these two hold to eachother and the main reason they had been together so long. Even now.
"Will you marry me?" these words must of made Taiwan happier than ever when she heard it from her all-time crush, Hong Kong. Yes. she just got engaged. She knew it would happen, but she didn't know he held the same feeling toward her too.
Hong Kong- The same day, he had planned it all along, with the fireworks and nice lighting. He too, was also not sure- of her answer. But he did it anyway. He trusted her. Knew she liked him, knew she loved him. That's why he could do this now. " All I have to say is like, W-will you marry meee " " will you marr-ee me" "Will you like, marry me I suppose?" "No don't say the stupid like or I suppose, like I usually now." even he practiced saying that correctly. How silly.
After these two actually got engaged and moved into Hong Kong's house, the name plate being Chun ( Kirkland ), Taiwan thought to herself: So my name will be changed to Chun. Mei Xiao Chun. ( Xiao Mei-Chun ) . What a cute name, she thought. I can trust my to-be husband.
Shortly after their wedding, they had a daughter, Mao Lin Chun. (Mao is like cat,and it kinda sounded like Mei. Mei, Mao. and Lin was Li but they put an n after it so it fit for a girls name. )
They began their story, their long long love story and their childhood story, to their kid, beginning with the words: "Mom and Dad grew up together in China-"
