The summer was dull, the Dursleys were duller, and the fact that he was allowed to see Mrs. Filch once a week was small comfort, seeing as he was back in the cupboard except for his things, which were off in a storage container due to the Dursleys lack of school-related encouragement. As he lay on the small cot in the cupboard, he thought about his life. He had friends, he had school, and he now knew more than ever about his past. On Saturdays, Mrs. Filch accompanied him to visit the wizarding world, and every other week he stayed with one of his friends. Harry was restless on two accounts. One, he could not stand to have such little touch with the other world, and two, he was going to visit Viktor Krum along with Hermione, Ron, Luna, and Neville next week where he would remain until the end of break. This summer he had truly transformed. He had seen life, death, and understood why he was here on Earth. He was now a man. Physically, mentally, and spiritually.
