During Black's rule, the 3 nations joined force for a short time to wage war against him. The war effort was led by a union of 6 Ponies, 2 from each races The Stallward Warrior & Eccentric Bard of the Earth Ponies The Brash Thief & Lovable Summoner of the Pegasus The Graceful Paladin & Commanding Sorceeress of the Unicorns The wars waged for a two long week, but the Ponies were winning However, on 14th day, Black's Generals challanged the 6 The Cruel Vampire Lord Belmont, The Monsterous Chaos Lord , The Tricksey Storm Genie En Zu, The War-Crazed Human MacLeod, The Terrifing Walk Jungle Ruffila and The Venerable Troll King Zuuta The 5 alone wiped out the army their troops has struggled against for 13 days in a matter of hours The 2 groups met in Ruins of the Once great Earth Pony Capital and clashed They battled none stop for 3 days, the tide of the battle being swayed one way and the other too many times to count However, in the end the Ponies not only defeated, but killed the generals, thanks to their fast bonds forged by their comradery in battle However, just as they united theirs powers together to Strip En Zu of his Immortality... Black Joined the fray Despite their greatest efforts, they were crushed under his All-consuming power and so they too were slain However, Black wasn't done with them Looking to gain total control over the Potentially Limitless power that makes up every living thing in Equestria, we snarked Souls of the 6 and the essenses of himself and his Generals From this power, Black crafted two sets of six spheres. The ponies became The Elements of Light: The Warrior's Honesty, The Bard's Laughter, The Thief's Loyalty, The Summoner's Kindness, The Paladin's Generosity & The Sorceeress' Friendship Personified His forces became The Elements of Darkness: Belmont's Treachory, 's Rage, En Zu's Ego, MacLeod's Hatred, Ruffila's Selfishness & Zuuta's Self-Righteousness all infused with Black's Darkness The twelve together formed the Embodiment of True Harmony, as state of deadlock between Good & Evil, each mirroring the other The War over and his Generals gone, Black retreated to lick his ego's wounds However, he got to use the Elements, as he was later banished. The 2 sets were then lost The Elements of Light, then known as the Elements of Harmony were used by the Alicorns Celestia & Luna to defeat Discord years later The elements of Darkness have been lost to history, however they are believed to be in the care of Black's most loyal Vassal.
