"Who's around when the days feel long,"
The endless day that was SBURB had finally drawn to a close. All they had been through- the death, the suffering, every single hard choice that had to be made- was over, now just a distant memory. But, for now, everything was at peace, and Jade Harley was tired. She had traveled to her planet, LOFAF, to perhaps find some relaxation. She had long ago put her home back together and returned her room to its original state. Now, she has turned on an old movie she loved, and curled up in some blankets. What better way to end a long journey? Suddenly, one of her computer devices made a notification sound. She discovered Pesterchum still installed, and Dave trying to contact her. She smiled- after all this time, he still used the stupid thing.
TG: hey
GG: hi! whats up?
TG: are you busy?
GG: no… why? :)
TG: great im coming over
GG: what?! now?

So, they day could get better.
"Who's around when you can't be strong,"
Dave and Jade hung around for hours. After all, being such close friends but living so far away from each other, this was their first chance to. It was the most fun Jade had had in a while. After they finished one notably terrible movie, Jade looked a bit down.
"Hey, you alright?" Dave asked, noticing the change in mood.
"Huh? Oh, no, I'm fine. It's just… what are we supposed to do now?"
"Well, whatever we want, I guess. No pressures. Plus, we have a universe to ourselves, how fucking cool is that?"
"I know," she inched a little closer to his spot on the couch they were sharing, "it's just different. Going from so much pain and stress and-" her voice broke. Everything that had happened, it was hard to keep it together. They were still kids, after all.
Dave instinctively pulled her close and joined her. They couldn't just forget what had happened- they had to deal somehow. Doing so was easier when you had someone you love with you.
"Who's around when you're losing your mind,"
She remembered everything she could. She remembered the medium, and Prospit, and going God tier, then Grimbark. She remembered the death and destruction. However, what stood out most in her mind was how Dave stood by her through all of it. He was there through the frog-cloning to make the new universe; he fought with her; then he wouldn't fight when her mind-controlled self told him to. He was time, she was space, and they needed each other.
"Who cares that you get home safe, who knows you can't be replaced,"
After all they'd been through, this moment- sitting on the couch, watching a shitty movie while snuggled up with Dave- could begin the healing process of it all. Just being near him was an escape, just knowing she was around somebody who cared about her, who had been through just as much as her. It was comforting.
"Who thinks that you're one of a kind?"
She looked up to see that "cool-kid" facade wiped straight from his face. He was grinning ear to ear.
"Hey, what's that on your face?" She asked tauntingly. He struggled to return his stoic mask.
"Shut up."
"You should smile more. You look better when you're not hiding everything."
He smiled and planted a small kiss on her lips.
"Alright."
