Set at the end of day five of children of earth!
They saved the world, but people had died. Jack blamed himself for all of the deaths. Stating that the world was simply too small.
Gwen put her hand on her bump as she cried, "Will you ever come back?" she asked with desperation in her soft, welsh voice
"What for?" He replied simply, he loved Gwen, but seeing that she was married to Rhys and expecting his child, she thought she would never love him the way he loves her.
She looks at him, tears flowing freely, her heart breaking as he said those two words, and answered his question "Me"
He looked at her slightly shocked, "why would you want me to come and see you?" he asked not understanding
She looked at him, her eyes full of sadness and loss, and her heart breaking, as she whispered the four words he wanted to hear, "Because I love you"
He smiled, and glanced behind her at her husband, "What about Rhys?"
She looked down, "I love you, not him, I'm sorry"
He took her hand and tilted her head up to face him, "Don't be sorry, We'll work this out, I promise"
She smiled and wrapped her arms around him, as he wrapped his around her, with her unborn child growing between them, as he whispered, "How bout you come with me?"
She looked up at him and grinned, "that sounds fantastic Jack" She turned to Rhys and moves towards him, sharing a passionate kiss, and when they pulled back, she whispered to him "I'll be back", she turned and disappeared with Jack before he had a chance to answer.
