The universe wasn't on my side.
(1950)
"Sara I love you and that's why I have to leave, I don't want to hurt you!" Josef's eyes were full of tears and they started dripping down his cheek.
"You're bleeding. What is wrong?" Sara was looking at the strange drops of blood coming from Josef's eyes.
"It's my tears if I cry we can't produce real tears so sometime we can cry tears of blood." Josef managed to choke out between his sobs as he hugged Sara.
"Why don't you just turn me? I could be with you forever!" A tear started to fall down her face.
"I can't Sara I can't put you through that!" Sara statement made him sob more.
"But, I love you and want to be with you for all eternity." She kissed Josef and he held her in his arms.
"For all eternity?" Josef ask with the thought going through his mind.
"Yes!" Sara looked at him with love in her eyes.
" I love you Sara and I would die if something happened to you because of me!" He looked at her and another tear of blood dropped to his face.
"I'll be fine just turn me." Sara smiled as she kissed him.
"I love you Sara." Josef's fangs dropped and sank into Sara's neck. Josef heard her heart beat fade and become almost non-existing and he bit into his wrist and fed her his blood.
"Sara? SARA?!" But she didn't respond.
"SARA!!!!! Oh no!!!! What have I done?!"
