"Good morning, friends!" Thor bellowed as he walked in to the kitchen and living room in Stark Tower.

"Shhh! Thor! The baby's asleep!" Steve whispered loudly. The "baby" in question was in fact fourteen, one of the two sisters Fury had the Avengers and Loki babysitting.

"I hope I did not wake her." Thor said quietly as he made his way to the couch to check.

"Ohh, is baby Hailey sweeping on uncoo Stevie?" Tony teased as he entered.

"Stark." Steve warned through gritted teeth.

"Seriously, does no one else find it weird that Captain America is laying on the couch with a fourteen-year-old 'baby' asleep on him at ten a.m.?" Tony continued

"Should we find it odd?" Loki asked after a moment.

"Whatever." Tony replied, turning his attention to the other girl staying with them. "First glass of the day, Devon?" He asked as she leaned back and tipped her head to drain the chocolate milk.

"Third." the sixteen-year-old gasped, coming up for air. Tony nodded, he was the same way with coffee.

"Where's the syrup?" Clint asked from the depths of the fridge amid the clanking of bottles.

"Fridge door, same place as always." Natasha answered, rolling her eyes.

"Thanks. Where's the jam?" Clint questioned.

"On top of the meat-and-cheese keeper, and before you ask it's two drawers below the spices." Natasha replied.

"Thanks, Natasha." Clint sighed gratefully before mixing up syrup, jam, and brown sugar to pour on his eggos.

Bruce wandered in as Clint was fixing his breakfast and made his way to the couch where Steve and Hailey were. "How'd she sleep last night?" Bruce asked quietly.

"Well, she didn't get to sleep until two and was up with me at six." Steve answered, glancing down at brunette asleep on his chest.

"Hmm..." Bruce hummed in reply. He was worried about her. After all, she was everyone's baby, not just Steve's.

"Devon.", Bruce called, "Can you come here please?" The small brunette hurried over, closely followed by Loki.

"Is there anything you know of that would keep your sister from sleeping?" Bruce asked.

"Umm I don't think she sleeps well when she's stressed." The girl answered uncertainly.

"You're her sister, what would you suggest we do?" Bruce prompted gently.

"Well...maybe if Steve...tucked her in?...and maybe read her a story?" The girl hesitantly suggested.

"We could try that." Steve blushed.

The Avengers and Loki spent the rest of the day hanging around the tower with their "babies". At Tony's suggestion they spent the afternoon watching horror movies.

"Bedtime." Steve announced at eleven o'clock. Everyone headed off to their rooms, having gotten ready for bed before the last movie. Steve took Hailey by the hand and walked her to her room. He tucked his "baby" in and, after reading her a fairy tale, sat at the foot of her bed drawing until she fell asleep.

"Yes.", he thought as he tiptoed to his room, "This just might work."
