Thriving
"Kurt! That boy's here again." Burt loudly stated, eyeing the shortest of the group curiously. Said teen made his way to the door, directing his father through to finish the laundry, he turned and by that time Blaine had been pushed behind his two friends.
Kurt blinked in utter confusion, before him three Warblers were in position. Both Wes and David were directly in front of him with the shorter Warbler in back.
Blaine was probably dragged against his will, again. This was the third time that week that the three Warblers appeared before Kurt's doorstep. Each time ending with Blaine coming in, hanging out, Blaine being pulled out by Wes and David. It was becoming- almost a daily routine.
"Pardon?" Wes and David smiled; grabbing Kurt's had and pushed him into Blaine's arms.
"I'm really sorry," Blaine murmured, Kurt blushed at how close the words were whispered into his ears. Hazel eyes watched as the two danced off gaily into the car they drove to Lima.
Kurt cemented his footing, and watching as Blaine raked his hand in his hair in distress. He looked at Kurt, then sighed once again.
"I think I should be the one sorry," Kurt spoke clearly, seeing as Blaine stopped his thoughts once he opened his mouth.
"Why should you be sorry, it was because of those two dolts…"
"Well, you're sighing like a freshly dumped middle-schooler in front my house on a Saturday afternoon. Of course I'm going to apologize for not being a gracious host."
Blaine shook his head, he took Kurt's hand into his own and looked into Kurt's eyes with sincerity and compassion.
"Kurt, you're just amazing, and I've been trying to ask you this all week." Kurt's face had began to deepen in color again, he tried to avoid Blaine's hypnotizing eyes, but to no avail, the light laugh that emitted from the taller of the two made Kurt look straight back into his eyes.
"Will… You go out with me?" Blaine smiled, noticing the brightness of Kurt's smile had diminished any fear of rejection.
"You know, you didn't need to come out all the way to Lima just to ask me, I mean you could have texted or called." Blaine shook his head, bringing the two closer.
"That's not fair to you, I mean I wouldn't want this to go wrong. I really like you, Kurt-" Before Blaine could pull Kurt into a warming embrace, Wes had came up from behind and snatched him away.
Kurt smiled, he's never seen Blaine pout before, he found it so different from his usual charm, but he found out more about Blaine every time he saw him.
"You'd think He'd take you out after asking?"
"Dad?" Kurt laughed, turning to his father at the door way.
"Well, took him long enough to ask you, that's all I'm saying." Kurt smiled, waving to the get away car that drove into the distance.
"It's alright, I have a feeling that they'll be back soon."
