So this is my first Doctor Who fanfiction. I really hope it's good. I was inspired to write this after eating an apple cider donut. (: So without further ado, I present to you...Apple Picking.
"Doctor, where are we going?" Amy Pond said to the man who was wearing a bow tie and controlling the Tardis.
"Massachusetts, 2011. We are going apple picking," the Doctor grinned.
Rory looked puzzled. "Apple picking?"
"Yes, Rory. Climbing trees to get apples, putting them in a basket and eating them later," the Doctor smirked. "Honestly, Amy what do you see in this man?"
"He's a goofball. I love that about him."
"Well we're here now, so shall we?"
The trio stepped out of the Tardis and into the crisp, fall, Massachusetts air. "Massachusetts is the best place to go apple picking. It's pretty, isn't it?"
"Extremely..." Amy smiled, taking in a breath.
"Well let's go apple picking!"
xx
After waiting in line for 30 minutes to get a basket, the trio went to the apple orchards and looked around. Amy had found a magnificent apple at the top of a tree. She went to climb the tree, but Rory stopped her. "No, no, Mrs. Williams. I'll do it." He started to climb the tree, but slipped and fell off the second branch, causing the Doctor to laugh. Amy giggled and then climbed the tree herself and got the apple. Rory blushed.
It continued like that for two hours, the friends laughing and climbing and tossing apples. They got back to the farm and paid for the apples with Amy saw something. "oooh what are those!"
"Apple cider donuts," the man said. "Delicious."
"We'll get a half dozen, and three cups of your hot cider," the Doctor grinned and paid for them.
Amy grabbed a donut and took a bite. "YUM!" She giggled.
Rory took a sip of the cider. "I think we'll need to come here in the fall a lot more often," he grinned.
The Doctor, whose mouth was full of apple cider donut, nodded and gave a big thumbs up. Amy laughed and Rory smiled.
I'm not sure how I feel about the ending...or the whole thing in fact. Please Review!
