A/N: This story is a really weird dream that I had, so don't mind if the beginning is a little odd at first. All the events will soon play out. THIS IS NOT A MARY SUE. EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT SEEM LIKE IT AT FIRST.

Chapter One:
In Your Heart You Wonder

My family and I were at Super Walmart. My uncle had just come from his home country and was shopping with us.

"Come," he said. "I have a surprise for you."

I grinned happily. I absolutely LOVED my uncle's surprises.

He led me deep into the store, talking excitedly to me, and before I knew it, we had stopped at a small, strange-looking white car.

Confused, I looked around me, not knowing how I had gotten here. I stepped cautiously inside the car and sat in one of the mysterious looking chairs situated there. My uncle followed me and quickly punched in a few numbers into a touchpad on the arm of his chair.

I looked at it with a sudden interest to see what he was typing but he covered it up and gave me a sly smile.

"No peeking," he told me teasingly.

Shrugging, I sat down in the chair again, watching my uncle settle comfortably in his chair. He looked calm and relaxed, as if nothing out of the ordinary were happening.

*What is happening?* I wondered as the car roared to life.

Suddenly, safety belts shot across me and fastened into place. I started, gasping as I tried to climb out of the chair, but the belts just tightened.

"Stay still," my uncle told me, laying a hand on my arm. "It's all right."

"Easy for you to say," I muttered under my breath. Forcing myself to keep motionless, it finally registered in my mind to look around at my surroundings.

The inside of the car contained only the two seats, a touchpad, a sliding door, and a dark panel to serve as a window in front of us. I peered through it, but could see nothing outside of the car.

The car shot forward without warning, jolting me roughly out of my seat, only to be met by the constricting seatbelts.

"I see the purpose of the seatbelts," I grunted, trying to breathe as the seatbelts tensed across my chest yet again.

My uncle laughed. "Oh, Christina, don't worry. Here." He reached over my arm and gave a slight tug on the seatbelts, loosening them instantly. "That better?"

"Who's driving?" I asked sharply, taking notice that he was not controlling the car in any way.

He just shook his head. "As I've told you before, don't worry."

*Where are we going then?* I thought, grinding my teeth uneasily. My question was soon answered.

The car stopped as suddenly as it had started, jerking me forward against the seatbelt, and the door slid open.
