Scorn of the Moon — Intro

"Your death will be condemned for treason, moon worshiper." Leona's voice sounded confident.

"Hah, think your Solari powers will help you?" I laughed at her, and shifted my feet, holding my crescent sword over my shoulder.

"You will pay for your heresy, Diana!" She yelled at me.

I looked down, my face now stealth, "The moon also rises."
I laughed even more. Her face whitened.

She acted in a panic and lifted her sword in the air, and a huge burst of light fell on me, stunning my body. I growled, and my lip twitched, as my whole body was still, "You little…"

When the tingling sensation came back to my fingertips, I smirked. With my sword, I summoned a white curved burst of moonlight towards her. She took my attack heavily and flinched as it drained her energy. She panted and pointed the tip of her sword at me, and I locked in place. She unleashed a straight thin line of light at me. As she started to dash towards me, she was still afflicted with moonlight. I played my cards, and focused hard. With the power of the moon descent I found; and followed, I teleported through her body, casting pale cascade, and held my moonsilver blade pointed at her back.

"Wha..Since when did you.." Leona's voice cracked.

"Looks like we haven't been able to catch up lately, dear sister."

I could hear her gulp, as I readied my next attack. Flashbacks of the past came back, but I pushed them as far away as possible.

"Nightfall!" I slammed my sword into the stone floor, cracking it, while casting a white moon-over-sun symbol; the same mark I had on my forehead.

It threw Leona back towards me, making her scream, "Diana! No!"

The orbs shielded me as she took the damage; I was draining her life.

"Goodbye, dear sister," I whispered.

But that wasn't the end.

Not even close to it.

That wasn't even the beginning. This whole story is a cursed one. And I'm not one to have a silver tongue for silken tales.
