Tauriel was fighting hard, trying to find Kili as she went. As she finished off her last opponent, she heard Kili scream from a yard away. When she turned, all she saw was him, lying on the ground, unmoving. "Kili." She said, and then fought her way over to him, as she knelt in front of him; her daggers slipping from her hands, tears ran down her face. "Kili, no. You will not leave yet! I forbid it!" Her voice rising to a scream, just as he opened his eyes.
"Tauriel," he said, and Tauriel stood and turned, yelling "We need a healer!" As soon as those words left her mouth, Legolas was standing to her right. "OMG, you're so pretty! Um, I mean, My Lord, Kili needs help." Tauriel said. Flipping his hair, he responded "Never fear, Leggy's here!" just as Eowyn strode up.
"Is that a dwarf? Cause', he's hot." "Back off! He's MINE!" Eowyn raised an eyebrow at this, and drew her sword. "You really want to play that way?" Tauriel asked, and before Eowyn could reply, Tauriel was flying at her, whirling as she tried to stab her. Eowyn quickly blocked her attack and stabbed Tauriel in the side.
"Tauriel!" Legolas and Kili said at the same time, and Eowyn looked toward Legolas, and over his shoulder. "He's hot too! Bye, guys!" and ran towards some other man. "Tauriel!" Kili said again, and once again, Tauriel knelt towards Kili, dropping her daggers and clutching her side.
"I guess it's my turn to walk in Starlight." He said. Tauriel's eyes widened at this, and she started crying again, sobbing "You can't go!" "Tauriel," He said again, and then passed into the sky to walk among the stars. Tauriel, forgetting the pain in her side, hugged Kili's lifeless body, saying "Quel Esta, Kili." (Rest Well) And laid her head on his chest, still crying.
"Tauriel. Look at me." Legolas said, kneeling to her eye level. "I can't heal him, but I can heal you." "NO!" Tauriel screamed. "I will stay and die alongside of him!" and held her side tighter. "Let go, Tauriel. I will heal you." "I want to be with Kili." "Is that what he would have wanted?" Inside of Tauriel, she knew that the answer was no, but she whispered "Yes." "Tauriel, I know you are sad, but you do know what he would have wanted." "I do. Heal me." She said, taking her hands away from her side.
Legolas looked at her and pressed his hands against her side, murmuring words that even Tauriel could not hear. He let go and picked up Tauriel's daggers, and offered his hand to her. "Come, Tauriel. We have to fight." At those words, Tauriel said "Yes." To Kili, and took Legolas's hand. He gave her the daggers, just in time to hear Eowyn and her new "Boyfriend" yell to them. "Come on, you Lovebirds! Let's hunt some orc!"
And as Tauriel and Legolas walked over to Eowyn, Kili sat up and said "Yes! I knew that she loved me!" and then laid back down.
