Hey this is just a quick bit of fluff i thought of and i wouldn't go away. Had to write it down.

I stood there.
Finally after months of waiting I was here.
I'd finally reached college.
I looked out onto campus.
Could I do this alone?
Could I do it without Jake?
Jake.
I remembered saying goodbye to him two days ago. We'd gone down to first beach...
"You sure you'll be okay for the drive there?" Jake asked me for about the fourth time that evening. We were on the beach sat on a blanket his arm was round me, keeping me warm. We were listening to the soft music of the waves and talking quietly on the sand.
"Yeah i told yoou I'll be fine!" I was trying more to convince myself more than him. Right now my stomach was doing flips.
Jake just laughed. "Bella, you seem to forget. I can read you like a book so stop trying to act all fearless. You are going to too just fine, don't worry!"
I smiled. Jake always knew how to make me feel better.
"You better be good with Quil Embry and all the pack. I don't want to come back and find you all went off chasing vampires and only four of you got back or something" I said to him a worried expression on my face. It might have sounded like I was joking but I was deadly serious.
Jake just laughed even harder. Then he saw my face, realising I was deadly serious he took my face between his huge hands, "I promise" he said softly, looking deep into my eyes, "not that that would ever happen I would definitely be one of the four to come back."
At that I had to laugh. I moved more into the circle of his arms and turned to look out at the sea.
The sun was setting, it was beautiful. The colours changed from bright gold to electrifying orange to soft pink and rose.
As the sun sank over the horizon I sighed.
Jake turned and leaned towards me.
He kissed me softly.
I was supprised but kissed him back.
I slipped my arms round his neck as his arms moved to my waist.
When he pulled away I made him come back by tugging softly at his neck.
As the sun disappeared we were kissing against the fantastic blue and purple backdrop that was the sky.
When we finally pulled apart I whispered to him "I'm really gonna miss you!"
He laughed softly, "I'll miss you to" he whispered back.
I smiled at the memory.
I turned and walked into campus. Jus=t because Jake wasn't right here didn't mean he wasn't there for me.
"I'm Bella Swan" I said brightly to the woman sat behind the welcome desk.
College had begun!
