"This is the life." I said to myself, while hanging in the cream hammock in my backyard. I had just gotten back from the fashion boutique I opened and manage, A 2 Z 3. The shop had mostly basic, feminine, and street styles. It was a tiresome day, my employee and friend, Gordon, had brought a coffee into the store. He tripped and fell, letting the drink spill ALL over the beautiful all black empire dress from cantata modo. Cantata modo is the brand that sells feminine styles. Gordon apologized immediately and paid for the dress.

It is about 4:30 pm here in Chicago. The smog isn't that bad today so I could see the crisp blue sky. I decided to go back to work at around 5:30, when I got back I saw someone I feel like I had met before, but I wasn't sure. He was a tall man with strawberry blond hair, he wore a light pink button up shirt with a black jacket over it. He had white belted pants and dark brown loafers. "Hello, I believe we've met." Said the man. "Uhhhh, you don't look familiar." I replied. "Well, my name is Dominic, Dominic Strata."

My heart stopped. I knew Dominic from the other city I lived in. He is the owner of Strata, the first shop I ever worked at. From there I worked at Annie's, another shop I opened. But I closed it and moved away, for, reasons. Dominic was my friend, although sometimes he would flirt with me. I never said goodbye to him, now it was time to explain... "Uhhh, hi." I said awkwardly. "Hi." he said awkwardly. We both just kinda stood there for awhile. "So, how have you been?" he asked, "Good." I replied. I looked off in space for what felt like an hour until I was interrupted. "Annie?" I looked up. "Hmm?" "Why, why did you leave Britain?"

"Hey Annie!" Said Gordon as he walked in the store right after his break. He stopped as he saw Dominic. He squealed like a little fangirl, "OH MY GOD IT'S DOMINIC STRATA!" he ran over and gave him a hug. "I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU DO!" Dominic looked up at me like he had seen a ghost. "Uhhh, I'm flattered?" he said, a little laughter in his voice. I mean I knew this day was weird, but honestly, could it get any worse? Apparently it could, because at that very moment, Grace and Renee walked in.
