"Okay.. Tell me what I do again?"

"Easy. Pick me up and throw me to the other side."

"THROW you? You mean, hypothetically, right?"

Medli looked at him, exasperated, one hand on her hip,

"Look, Link, we're standing out here, getting covered with all the dirt blowing around in the wind, and a glowing piece of ash could easily land on us and set us on fire,
and all I want to do is go up the volcano and try to make it stop, and you're saying you can't pick me up and throw me onto that ledge?"

"What!? Of- of course I can!"

"Why aren't you, then?"

"Because.." He looked at his feet. "I.. I don't want you to get hurt.", he mumbled.

"Oh." Said Medli softly. "Oh, well..." She cleared her throat and her no-nonsense look returned. "It's alright Link, I'll be fine, I promise. Now, please just throw me up there."

"But what if you do get hurt? What then?"

Medli approached him. "Then I can count on you to help me, right?" She inquired softly. Link nodded.

"Good. Then throw me up there!" Demanded Medli, her voice strong again.

Link obeyed.

"Alright. Link," she called down. "Don't tell anyone I'm climbing Dragon Roost in this weather. It'll be our secret. May our paths cross again!"

And with that, she was off.

Link looked around. "Now how to follow her..."
