A Post Ep fic for 'Frasier Loves Roz'
A/N: I know I haven't updated my other fic in forever and i am working on it, but have this until then :3
Roz stood by her door, her heartbeat drumming loudly in her ears. Silent, she listened for Frasier's steps down the hallway and to the elevator but heard none. Was he still on the other side of the door? Tentatively she shifted her hand down to the cold brass handle but then froze.
What if she opened the door and he was still there?
What if he wasn't?
She let her fingers slip of the handle and started turned around, ready to take the hideous green dress off and get to bed. But before she got the chance she heard a clicking noise. Instinctively she turned back around, just as the her front door swung open and the full impact of the door hit her in the face.
"Roz!"
She didn't think she was crying but the hand cupping her nose was wet with tears. She waved one hand dismissively at a very nervous looking Frasier, the other one pinching her nose, "I'b fin."
"I'm so very sorry…Oh dear do you want some ice? Is that blood!?"
"I's just a nobleed." He took a step closer to her but she backed peddled.
"Let me just get you a warm cloth and some ice and then ill get out of your 's the least I can do."
No more than a minute later he appeared back in the room to find Roz sitting on the edge of her bed, a tissue held tight to her nose. He knelt down on the floor in front of her and began to wipe of the thin trail of blood on her chin with the warm washcloth he had retrieved from the bathroom. He felt her tense at first, but soon she relaxed exhaling slowly. She let her hand drop from where she held the tissue to her nose and Frasier continued to gently clean her face off. Her eyes were still watery when he finished.
"Well that is going to leave a bruise. You'd better keep some ice on it." He reached over to grab the icepack he had set on her bed stand placing it gingerly on her nose and held it there showing no sign he was going anywhere.
"Are you going to stay here for the rest of the night holding that or what?"
"I…um…."
She grasped his hand and lowered it, the icepack falling to the bed.
"Im joking with you. I know it was a accident. Now get going okay?" She tried to smile but winced as the muscles in her face twinged with pain.
"I feel so badly. Have you eaten yet? Let me order something in and we can watch a movie or something?"
"You don't have to do that."
"Please Roz, I've made your bad day worse, causing you actual bodily harm."

"Oh gosh im going to look hideous tomorrow." Roz lamented as they sat at her table finishing the food Frasier had ordered.
Frasier reached into the small space between them and took her chin between his forefinger and thumb, looking closely at her face, "Nonsense, I can barely see any swelling. Anyways, you're beautiful Roz, a little bruising is not going to take away from that."
"You're laying it on a little thick Frase, I already said I forgive you."
He paused before responding, "No, I mean it. You really are beautiful, purple nose and all."
Thier faces so close together already, he punctuated the last part with a playful kiss on the tip of her nose. As he drew back however, he caught the split second expression on her face, something he had never seen before. He imagined it was something that was similar to the expression on his own. His breath quickened as he made the split second decision to lean back in, this time capturing her lips with his own.
