PruCan- Lonely
'Man, I'm so awesome!' thought Gilbert Beilschimdt, the personification of Prussia (East Germany), as he walked (strutted) down the large, grand hall of the U.N. Meeting hall in Paris, France. It was France's turn to host the meeting much to his delight, as they were good friends. England on the other hand...not so much. As Prussia got closer to the big, wooden, double doors of the meeting room, his ears picked up the distinct sound of sobbing. He spun around; blood red eyes scanning the area around him, until he found what looked to be a blonde haired boy, with a peculiar curl sticking out, wearing glasses and a red hoodie, and holding what looked to be a polar bear. Gilbert walked over to the boy and crouched down beside him, "Mattie?"
The two had known each other for quite awhile through the introduction of France, and over time, Prussia had developed very strong feelings for the country of Canada. Said Canadian looked up, startled that someone had seen him. "O-oh it's you, G-gil." Mattie was shaking and wiping his eyes dry with the back of his hand. Gil looked at his friend sadly, "What's the matter, Mattie?" Canada sniffed, "It's nothing Gil, don't worry about it..." Prussia hardened his gaze, "C'mon Matt, don't lie to me. What's wrong?" Canada turned away from Gil, tears running down his face again, his voice choking sobs, "You don't know what it's like to be invisible to everybody, or not have anyone remember your name... God, I'm so alone..." He then put his head in his hands and started sobbing again, this time, more heavily.
Gilbert's pitiful expression darkened severely. 'How DARE those dumbasses not notice Mattie!' Gilbert thought darkly, 'There's so many things about him that are awesome! Like his amazing smile, that... cute little curl... those... incredible…eyes of his...' Prussia's thoughts started to go from angry to dreamy just thinking about the Canadian. He then did something he thought he would never do in his entire life...he hugged Matthew. Startled and surprised at Prussia's unordinary act, he shyly returned the hug. "Mattie... Don't feel like you're alone. I'll always be here for you... No matter what..."
Matt couldn't believe how sincere and heartfelt Gilbert sounded. He smiled brightly, returning Gil's hug full force. Prussia laughed, breaking away from the Canadian and stared into his eyes. Those captivating purple orbs that he couldn't (didn't) want to look away from. Matt, on the other hand, was enticed by Gil's astonishing red orbs. They were so unusual, and yet so beautiful. Mattie was so entranced, that he did the the only thing that he could. He leaned forward and gave Gilbert a full kiss on the lips.
The stunned albino quickly melted into the blonde's kiss, returning it with full passion and bringing the boy closer to him. 'Mmm... He tastes like maple syrup...' Gil thought dreamily as his hand buried itself in Canada's long, soft strands of hair. The two stayed like that for what seemed like hours, until Matt broke away, blushing like crazy and stuttering, "Oh Gil, I'm so sorry! I don't k-know what came over m-me!" Gil only smiled and stood up, bringing Canada with him, and hugging him to his chest, "Don't be Mattie... Ich liebe dich... I've wanted to kiss you ever since I met you..." Matt's nervous expression turned into a smile, kissing the albino's cheek and holding his hand, "Je'taime Gil... I always have..." They both walked down the hall together, holding hands and smiling. 'So what if we're late,' Gil thought happily as his hand squeezed tighter around Canada's, 'It's a good reason why, and I bet once I tell West, he'll think so too.'
