"Do you have to do that your hair looks fine" I asked Jade, pacing. "Yes and make me a cup of coffee" Jade replied. "Jade no one is going to care if your hair isn't perfect we're going to be late" I said, knocking on the bathroom door. Jade said "Just a minute worry rat" Jade and I were going to the prom. "You ready yet?" I asked knocking at the bathroom door. Jade said yes and walked out of the bathroom. Wow I grasped wow. Jade looked confused and said "Something wrong"? I responded "No it's that you look so beautiful." Jade smirked and said "You're saying I don't look beautiful when I'm not wearing this dress?" " No, no "I stammered "let's just go" and drove the familiar path to Hollywood Arts.
I got out of my car and opened the door for Jade. Jade stepped out and started commenting on the people wearing the ugliest outfits. I waited for her to finish talking and said "You wanna dance?" Jade moaned fine but you owe me. I started spinning her around the dance floor until I heard a special song. I around my arms around Jade started slow dancing and whispered "you remember this song"? Jade nodded and started dancing with me.
You put your arms around me and I believe it's easier for you to let me go sizzled in the air as I lead Jade to spin. As she came into my arms I whispered "remember us them? It was first date – at the coffee shop. You couldn't remember my name so you called me coffee". Jade smiled and said" I do love my coffee. "
Flashback:
I saw Jade at school, leaning up against her locker. Even back then she looked so pretty. I walked up to her and said Hi I'm Beck. She sipped her coffee and said "I don't care" . I asked her out , she rejected me but after a couple of times I brought her coffee then asked . She said yes and we went to the coffee house. I ordered my cup and asked her what she wanted. After ordering I started to pay for our coffee. Jade slapped my arm and said "No I'll pay" . I responded "No I got it". Jade squeezed my arms tighter "I will pay". I was starting to lose feeling in that arm so I suggested we go Dutch. Jade finally let go my arm and grabbed her cup. I got mine and followed her to a table. Sipping her cup Jade asked "So coffee why do you wanna go out with me?" I said "Because you're different, not afraid to be yourself and unique" Jade said "Whatever Coffee". Soon the trips to get coffee became more and more regular until I asked her to be my girlfriend.
Current Time:
I whispered in Jade's ear "I still think you're as beautiful as you were then". Jade nodded and pulled me closer. "And now for our prom king Mr. Beck Oliver please come up on the stage. We repeat Beck Oliver to the stage please". I walked up to the stage and smiled. "Our prom queen is Miss. Jade West. We repent Jade West to the stage please ". Jade walked up and we got crowned. I whooped, put Jade in my arms and kissed her. After a few minutes she pulled away and moaned "Beck you're messing up my hair". I respond "No you look great" and continue kissing her.
When we got back to the RV I set our crowns on a drawer . Admiring them I comment "They look good together just like us. Without the Queen the King would be lonely and depressed; without the King the Queen would be the same just like us." Jade smirked and said "God you can be such a sap sometimes" I reply "But I'm your sap". Jade said "True, true now king make your great Queen coffee".
We spend the rest of the night like that, curled up of the couch, sipping our coffees and enjoying each other's presence until I spilled a little coffee on Jade's dress. "Beck" she creams " It's ruined" . I smile and say "You'll just have to take it off then".
