Long ago, before Titania entered the woods, Oberon loved another faerie, and the world was a different place. Now, Titania existed, but she had not yet been found by Oberon and his train. One day, while away from the Original Queen, Oberon discovered Titania in a deep sleep. When she awoke, it was as though Cupid had struck them both. They fell in love, leaving the Faeries to wonder what was going on, as they already had a queen. There were seven Faeries in the train at that time: Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth, Mustardseed, Eucalyptus, Honeysuckle, and Bug. The original Faerie Queen was still their mother, so they would not follow under Titania's ruling. One day, Oberon went travelling through the woods, in order to clear his mind. As he wondered what to do in his current situation, a certain laugh could be heard from all around him. Just as he prepared to strike, a Faerie that was not of his own creation emerged. The Faerie called itself Robin, and said that she knew of Oberon's dilemma, but had a way to fix things. She then began to weave a tale of a flower that would make whoever its dye was placed upon fall in love with the first creature they saw. Realizing that it could only make the problem worse, Oberon began to take his leave, until Robin began to speak in a darker voice, calling herself "Puck". She said that with his magic, he could alter the flower's spell, making the faeries forget all about the current queen, and would think only of Titania as their mother and queen. Oberon agreed, and he and Robin began to set the plan in motion. First, he would set the spell on all of the faeries, removing any memories they had of the original queen, and replacing them with memories of Titania. Unfortunately, the magic left certain side effects, damaging the brains of the faeries, regressing them back into the mindsets of two year olds. The dolls they would then carry represented their lost memories. For the second step, Puck had said to completely get rid of the original queen, but he couldn't bring himself to destroy the one he once loved. He therefore, in secret, used his magic to alter her form and memories, leaving her with a new name, Cornflower. She was then placed in Titania's care, as a new faerie, and stated that she would always serve Titania. Now Puck wasn't happy about the original Queen remaining alive, so in order to get her revenge on Oberon for not following the plan, she used magic of her own to create an imaginary rift between the two faerie rulers, and in turn, separating Oberon from Cornflower. The faeries were split into two groups: Titania's faeries (Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth, Mustardseed, Cornflower, and Bug) and Oberon's faeries (Eucalyptus and Honeysuckle). Puck placed herself within the Oberon faeries, in order to cause more mischief among the faerie rulers, and those who crossed paths with them.
