Bouquet of Roses

Every week he would send her roses.
Always a vibrant shade of red and occasionally their will be a note with them. With the words "I love you" or occasionally "I miss you."
If they couldn't be together on some holiday like Valentines or her birthday it would wish her a Happy Valentines, or Happy Birthday.
She will admit being separated from him is hard, but what is even harder is traveling between the two countries knowing her time with Noctis will only last a couple of days a week at the latest. It's only when she and noctis are married she will be able to stay with him in his country.
She remembers slightly teasing him that he would probably stop giving her bouquets of roses once they are married.
He would always laugh softly at that remark before reassuring her that he would continue to give her flowers in after they were married.
She slowly moves the vase to her room gently placing it on her nightstand inhaling the soft flowery scent.
A part of her can waits to rejoin her fiance again.
