A/N: This is my contest entry for WilxVi-FanClub's current contest on deviantART. I would have done a picture but writing is my strong suit and a picture would have taken too long considering the fact that I use Window's Paint.
Period: 'Stone Age'
Characters: Wilbur Robinson, Violet Parr, Rexy, and Rexy's duraplastic ball
"Visit to the Stone Age" by JustWriter
"Do you really think it's okay to leave him here?" Wilbur asked as he stared off longingly at his pet of 5 years Rexy.
"Yes Wilbur, it's okay. It's certainly better than him humping the time machine," Violet replied blandly.
"But… are you sure he has the skills to impress a female; to survive? He domesticated!" Wilbur cried desperately as Rexy played with his gigantic duraplastic ball that Cornelius Robinson had specifically designed for Rexy.
Noticing the ball Violet said, "Wilbur you know we can't leave that ball here, unless you want them to discover the wheel early." Wilbur turned to her and displayed the puupy dog eyes trick. "No Wilbur! He was a grown, healthy tyrannosaurus rex before he ever arrived in the future. You can't expect him to stay with you forever."
"But…" Wilbur began to actually cry. "Can't we take his mate with us?"
"You want us to get slapped with an illegal breeding operation?"
"No dear… it's just that…"
"You got lucky with Rexy, seeing as someone else brought him to the future, but it's not feasible for the Tommorrowland Government to allow you to breed them like puppies. They could escape into the wildlife and eat endangered species!"
Suddenly a proverbial light bulb appeared above Wilbur's head in a cartoonistic fashion. "I know! They can live in the zoo!"
"What?" Violet grit out.
"It's perfect! Rexy can have a family in the zoo!"
"How the hell are we supposed to get two t-rexes into the time machine?"
"We don't have to Violet! I'll take the female and you can take Rexy," he replied.
"Oh no you're not; you are NOT leaving me in the Stone Age!" she exclaimed.
Disclaimer: I don't own Pixar's "Incredibles" or "Meet the Robinsons." I do however claim this plot where Wilbur has trouble saying goodbye to his pet Rexy and I claim Rexy's toy duraplastic ball.
