For years I have been the girl on the sidelines; never destined to be more. My name is Bella Swan and I am your average seventeen year old. Brown eyes, brown hair, no overly exciting curves –not that what I wear helps much.
I have not been or seen many wonderful things I haven't done many risky activities…I mean I live in Forks, the epitome of cold, rainy and boring.
The main thing about the town that you will never see is the overly outrageous need to belong. People just do. There are like…three different groups of people: jocks, the best friends you could have (normal/average/ME) and the bitches that rule the school.
Well I do not belong all that much…
But my world will change with the group of people soon to arrive. The Cullen's.
I have a brother named Jasper and a sister: Rosalie. I am so much different from them. They are both beautiful blondes with stunning blue eyes, tall, skinny, Everybody's dream appearance. Even me.
I am a junior and my siblings are seniors. We all go to Forks High. Even though we are in different grades we are best friends at school and out.
I used to be the clumsiest person to walk this earth but after extensive ballet classes I have actually become a graceful swan that does not trip over a flat stable surface…in runners.
My father Charlie is the police chief for Forks and loves his job almost as much as he loves his family as he often shows us how much he truly does love us.
I may not belong in this school but I strive to be the best, to be more, to be happy, and to become everything I hope for.
