Disclaimer: No. I'm afraid not.

A/N: Ignore the title. I had to come up with something. Anyways, I wrote this story like four (?) months ago and wasn't bothered to put it up. So here it is. Enjoy!

Never Ending Supply of Warts

"True love stories never have endings." - Unknown.

"Kanda... tell me a story." Allen asked from his bed.

Allen was in hospital. He was injured badly from a surprise akuma attack, and he had nearly died from bleeding. Luckily, the finder had found him before it was too late. Kanda had no idea why he was here and why he was looking after Allen. He had been immobile all week, ever since he had returned and Kanda had been by his side the whole time, even when Allen had been unconscious during the first few days. Allen had only just managed to regain consciousness in the morning, when Kanda had been asleep beside him.

"No." Kanda replied harshly. He did care for Allen but he didn't need anyone knowing that.

"Please?" Allen started pouting. He had recovered only a bit, his sides hurt whenever he turned around. He was incredibly stiff.

Kanda looked into Allen's pleading eyes. "Fine."

Kanda started making up a story out of his head, one that Allen might hate...

"There was once a princess that lived in a tower. She was stupid, dumb and stupid. She wasn't rich nor pretty. She was an ugly princess. That ugly princess stood in a tower. Years passed and her 'Prince Charming' did not appear. She was growing old and weary with time, but she waited hoping that her prince would come and rescue her. But instead the princes decided to rescue the prettier ones like Rapunzel and Briar Rose (aka Sleeping Beauty).

"However, when she was ninety-nine years old, her hair dead from age, and her face full of wrinkles, a frog decided to show up. It was more of a toad with yellow warts, but it turned up and climbed the great tower finally reaching the top where the princess was. The toad said, "Kiss me. And I'll turn into a beautiful prince. And you, a beautiful princess." The stupid princess kissed the toad. Instead of a prince, there was a dead toad. Dead from the harsh, disgusting breath of the princess. Luckily, the princess died too, but first she grew warts and they spread through her whole body like a disease. She died a slow and painful death. They lived happily ever after. The End."

Allen stared at Kanda, with an eyebrow raised, "Wow. Nice story. Never knew you had so much depth."

"I don't," Kanda muttered. "Anyway, you should go to sleep."

"No. Your story was a bit out of whack. How can she live happily ever after if she died because of warts?" Allen asked softly. His voice wouldn't allow him to talk normally so he could only whisper without hurting himself.

"She just died. And now she's happy." Kanda replied shortly not looking at Allen.

"But why 'The End'?" Allen asked sadly.

"Because, all stories need an ending."

"Not ours." Allen whispered.

Kanda positioned his face so that it looked at Allen's. "What?"

"..." Allen was already asleep, laying peacefully in bed. At least he wasn't snoring.

Kanda sighed softly.

"Love lasts forever." Allen mumbled subconsciously.

Kanda replied with a, "I guess..."

He quietly leaned in towards the sleeping Allen and softly kissed him.

He fell asleep in Allen's lap still sitting in his chair.

And Allen smiled as he felt the soft lips touch him.

A/N: Hmm... I like the princess story.

But anyways, I do need to improve my writing... so... you should know what to do. (Click Review!) ;D
