Hello, My faithful readers! This is a little scene I put together. It takes place during New Moon shortly after Jacob has phased and stopped talking to Bella. I own Nothing of these characters or Twilight, both belong solely to Stephanie Myers. I may or may not turn this into a multi-chapter story but I'm not sure as of yet but let me know If I should add more. -Madhatterhelsing
*Takes place on top of a cliff edge located in La Push Beach*
A lone Female stood on top of the cliff edge where just earlier in the day the wolf pack stood and took turns diving off. The ocean that waited below rolled and crashed against the rocks with a story of untold vengeance. Overhead the sky heavy with storm clouds pour violently, just adding to that of the vast ocean below. With a roll of thunder and a crack of lightning, the lone female was revealed to be Bella Swan. Bella stood there in a sleeveless white gown, barefoot, with her hair hung freely down in all its wavy glory. It's funny in a way if you think about it. She didn't own any dresses and the one dress she did own had been bought by the Cullen's. So she went out and bought one. She never did fancy wearing dresses but this was one occasion where she felt it necessary like she owed it both to herself and this moment to wear a dress. Even if it was only for a short period of time.
After the whole dealing with Edwards voice in her head and the visions that came with putting herself in danger, she realized she didn't long for him, but for his family. She long for the way she fit in with his family if you don't include the whole vampire thing. Her family was broken but with the short time she was with the Cullen's including Rosalie, she could have her "completed family" she always wanted as a child. Instead of the broken home she had, the back and forth between Charlie and Renee. Bella smiled softly as the rain quickly drenched her in its violent downpour, her white dress quickly becoming see through, revealing a matching red bra and panty set. She had gone out and bought the set when she had purchased the white dress. Come to find out the lingerie shops are not as scary as she had originally thought.
"Soon" She breathed out, eyes falling shut she turned her face toward the sky for a few moments, arms spread out basking in the rain. Each rain drop feeling as just another encouraging push. Turning from the sky to look forward, her arms came to rest by her sides. With a final nod of her head, she took the final steps to the very edge of the cliff. The Storm raged on around her, for the first time in months she felt true peace and not so alone...she felt complete. "Finally...take me as I am" she breathed out before letting her eyes slip close once more. Stepping forward her one foot over the ocean for the briefest moment before she let her body move forward, almost as if she was about to take a step down onto a step on a staircase. Surprisingly instead of falling fast, her body fell slow, the wind guiding her slowly. She fell gracefully, silently, no screams, no flailing limbs just silence, well besides the storm raging on around her. "falling, falling, but this time by choice" her brain supplied during her fall. Contrast to the slow descend from the cliff her body crashed violently, the water harshly swallowing her body up as if it needed it.
The very instance her body disappeared into the water everything stopped. The rain stopped, the wind lost its strength, the thunder lost its roar and the lighting lost its crackle. The clouds quickly dissipated leaving a behind in wake a rainbow filled sky. The sound of the splash reverberated to the surrounding areas. The storm wasn't the only thing that seemed to have taken its flight. Everything had fallen silent, eerily silent almost as if to pay respect to the fallen soul.
*Time skip of 4 hours*
The body of Bella Swan washed up on a grassy plane near a waterfall located in an unknown location. The area seemed like a secret paradise, with plush trees, vast amounts of greenage, brightly colored flowers of all breeds, various types of animals and endless ongoing vines. Even though the location was unknown it did in some weird way lead back to first beach. Only specially selected people were allowed into this part of the forest. Bella skin held an unhealthy complexion, she was beyond pale, paler than even her beloved Cullen's. The woods pulsed rhythmically, like a heart beat if you would. The forest had immediately felt the presence of the new soul, damage as it may enter their domain. They had expected a new soul soon but they did not expect one so mistreated. They had witnessed her step off and fall from the cliff. They had already decided that they were going to help her. From the moment she appeared on the cliff in her white gown, they knew she was coming to them. Vines slithered and inched toward her body like a snake, water coming off the water floating its way over to her. Nature quickly moved forth to surround her body in a protective cocoon, to shut out the rest of the world that had treated yet another soul so poorly. With each vine that wrapped around her another part of her story was learned and quickly shared with the other spirits.
