Mermaids

Written by TR-H

Boats floating—across the seven seas.
In search for precious gold and jewels—majestic treasures of untold secrets and curses

Lonely men, sailing the seven seas with greed on the mind and carry an empty void.
Night falls, misty fogs swell and blind the path—only to reveal what has not been seen for countless years, even centuries.

Mermaids.

Beautiful, enticing, incredibly mysterious but also majestically admired with a dark side underneath the mask.

Sharing a song to manipulate the men's conscious awry mind.
Luring them towards the side of the dingy, unknowing their death is waiting beneath the surface.

When finally under, there is no escape.
No can hear your screams.
No can help you from the clutches of the mermaid

Always known for their mysterious ways of how they survive
always admired for the beauty they possess
always remembered for what they are assumed to be nothing more than—water dwelling killers.

Show a mermaid

Compassion, kindness and even—love.

There you may soon come to realise that they are no much different to us—they only wish to survive as we do. They have feelings as we do, endure pain even desire.

If given a tear of the mermaid

Do not waste it as the tear is precious and fragile.

Ask for forgiveness—they just might give it.

They just might turned you into one of them and live—Forever.

Mermaids.

Beautiful creatures that dwell in the depths of the deep.

Come across one—respect them as they are old dwellers and the ocean's keepers of secrets—secrets of treasures that are forever hidden from us—once more.

Majestic maidens of the deep, desirably admired beings—be patient,

And one day—if worthy,

They shall return and share their secrets

With us,

Once more.

Mermaids—half fish, half woman—all incredible keepers of the oceans

Secrets of tears.

The end.

What do you think?
