Now that Lily had finally said yes to James's dates it became Hogwarts best gossip.
Everyone was waiting for lily to either breakup with James or get in a fight in some way.
This weekend James had asked lily to accompany him on the hogsmeade trip which she gladly said yes to.
They had been going out for two weeks lily was hoping that they would share their first kiss together on this trip.
James had been trying not to go to fast, just holding her hand though he desperately wanted to kiss her.
James just didn't want to scare her away by going too fast. What He didn't know is that lily had been worried he didn't want to kiss her since he hadn't.
But lily had worked out a plan. If he didn't kiss her she would kiss him first.
Today was the hogsmeade trip James had taken lily to honeydukes to buy her a piece.
While they were walking back lily drug James into the nearby alley way. She pushed him up against the wall and sighed.
"James are you ever going to kiss me?" she said. James completely shocked by her sudden roughness just stared.
"Do you not want to or think I'd slap you, I wouldn't have" she was pleading for him to answer.
James finally comprehending what she was saying said "No I just didn't want you to think I just wanted to get into your pants".
Lily sighed in relief and said "Great, I thought you didn't like me enough to want to".
"So I can kiss you and you won't think I'm a slimedog for doing it". James said looking at her lips.
Lily giggled at the word slimedog and shook her head. James smiled. "So if I kissed you now you would let me?"
The kiss is every bit of what a first kiss should be and more.
After the kiss they walked and went to the three broomsticks James kissing lily every 5 minutes.
Lily looked at James and said "I loved our first kiss".
James smirked and said "I did too".
