We Are The Borg…
We are the Borg. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.
Intro:
We all know the Starfleet perspective of famous Borg-Federation battles. But there is two sides to every story…
Part 1: Battle of Wolf 359 (Star Trek TNG: Best of Both Worlds Part II)
POV: The Borg
We have arrived at the designated coordinates. There isn't any human's here- yet. We must wait, they will come. The difference between a Borg ship and a Federation ship is that the Borg ship is run as a whole. There! Off the port bow! Engage them! Load weapon bays! Fire at random! They will be assimilated! We walk over to what used to be the human: Picard. Locutus, you must speak to them! They must be assimilated! Locutus steps forward towards the view screen. The captain of the USS Melbourne appears on the screen. "I am Locutus of Borg. Your life, as it has been, is over. From this time forward, you will service us." "Ensign, FIRE!" screams the Captain. Fire at them! Target their life support! Get the other ships too! They must also be assimilated! Several ships explode upon impact. But the Melbourne puts up a good fight. Their shields have drained! Board their ship and assimilate them! We beam aboard their ship, and begin to assimilate their crew, one by one, and beam them back aboard our Cube. We have assimilated the humans. Now we must have more. Plot a course for Earth. Warp 13! Wait! The ship comes to a full stop. It's the Enterprise! We must assimilate Picard's crew! But the Enterprise doesn't fire. Instead, it separates. The saucer section and the nacelle section split, and a shuttle craft zooms out of the bay. What the… Fire at the Ship…s! We fire, but without success. The shuttle craft penetrates our field. The pilots beam aboard our cube. We try to stop them, but we continue to fire upon the Enterprise. Suddenly, we feel a piece missing. Locutus is gone! Damn it! We must have him back… (The Enterprise destroys the cube, and warps off.
